What are solar keratoses?
They are slightly scaly reddish or brownish spots that are usually located on the face, ears, hands, and bald region of the scalp. They are pre-malignant lesions and can turn into cancer.
These lesions are treated by dermatologists by freezing with liquid nitrogen, coagulation with an electric scalpel and the application of 5-fluorouracil anticancer creams.
